CodeMeter License Manager Installation and Configuration Guide
1. CodeMeter Overview
CodeMeter License Manager is a program used as the license server for FluidDraw, which is utilized by designers.
1.1 Installation
Installer Location:
I:\03 - TelepitoFileok\CodeMeter\CodeMeter-8.0.5974-501.x86_64.rpm
Download and Installation: Installation can be done easily through the UI. CodeMeter License Manager uses port 22352.
Opening the Port: To ensure proper communication, open port 22352:
sudo firewall-cmd --zone=public --add-port=22352/tcp --permanent
sudo firewall-cmd --reload
1.2 Licensing
Licensing is handled through the Festo License Central WebDepot:

Re-hosting Licenses involves deactivating them first and then activating them in another CmContainer. The process can be carried out through file transfer:

Upload Request:
- Create a license request file from the CmContainer with EREDETI GÉP SERIAL and Firm Code 6000422.
- This file can be created using CodeMeter Control Center.
Steps:
- Start CodeMeter Control Center on the computer with the CmContainer that contains the EREDETI GÉP SERIAL.
- Select the CmContainer.
- Click "License Update".
- Follow the "CmFAS Assistant" instructions. Choose "Create license request".
- Choose a filename for the license request file and click "Commit" to save.
- Transfer the license request file to the destination computer.
- Select the licenses to re-host and the license request file, then click "Upload Request And Continue Now".
1.3 Running the Services
Relevant Services:
